"Class 29: The Making of the U.S. Navy SEALs"
OK, here is my review of a GREAT book by John Carl Roat!!!:
One word can sum this book up: "IMPRESSIVE!!"
This book is a MUST-READ for all fans of the Navy SEALs!! I think that this
book needs to be "U.S. Navy Issue" for all future SEALs!!   It is a road map on
precisely what Toughness and Teamwork is required to pass BUDS, and what
FURTHER Toughness and Teamwork is likewise required to make it ALL the
rest of the way to the Graduation, then to pass the "probationary qualifications"
for proudly pinning on and wearing the elite "BUD" Trident insignia seen at the
top of this page!!   The book covers ALL of what it takes to make the Teams:
crawling in the cold mud,  feeling pain from endless PT and exercises. learning
Teamwork, advancing through every training phase, then graduating!
It does not end with six phases!! (BTW-he described the phases in detail, you'll
get to see them from your readers chair as he worked along side his team mates!!)!

In addition to his account of the grueling PT and special attention from the
instructors, you will also be shown many other materials and stories provided!
Check out, for instance, whether class 221 measured up to the "old traditions"
of pain and endurance!  Carl  Roat and other veteran SEALs went to that class
to observe it First Hand for comparison!!  Did they make the Grade?? You must
read his evaluation of the class, plus the comments by other classmates!!

Also at the back of the book are the typically good "SEAL data", such as the
BUDS Warning Order, the "stats"on some of the outstanding results in class 29,
the list of the instructors and men graduates forming two (yes, 2!!, East & West)
class 29's that were raised to become SEAL's!

All told, my friends, John Carl Roat has provided a great book!!, it's a First-Hand
Account of the tremendous training that all MUST PASS to become SEALs!

Don't walk, RUN!!  Get your copy of what will become "The Classic of BUDS"
Qualification Requirements for becoming SEALs!!  You must NOT miss this one!:

"Class 29, the Making of the U.S.Navy SEALs" by John Carl Roat
